Platform Data Backup and Recovery
On a broader platform level, DogeBank uses distributed storage to back up critical data. Key information such as user registration details, transaction histories, and computing power resources is not only stored in the main data center but also backed up across geographically distributed nodes via distributed storage.
This redundancy ensures that, in the event of natural disasters, cyberattacks, or hardware failures, the platform can swiftly restore data from backup nodes, maintaining operational continuity. For example, if a fire damages the main data center and causes data loss, DogeBank can immediately retrieve data from the distributed backup nodes to rebuild platform services—minimizing the impact on users and preserving the platform’s reputation and user trust.
