Caret Digital is a wholly-owned subsidiary of VivoPower International PLC, a sustainable energy solutions company. Caret Digital has established a certain presence in the digital asset mining sector. Below is a detailed introduction:
Ø Business Overview: Caret Digital primarily utilizes the solar farm assets of VivoPower for digital asset mining, focusing on the mining of Dogecoin and Litecoin. Based on current prices of Dogecoin and Litecoin, along with the GPU cost of Antminer mining machines, Caret Digital has the potential to generate approximately $150 million in annual revenue from mining these two cryptocurrencies. Its Dogecoin mining operations are mainly conducted in Wisconsin and Oregon.
Ø Development Plans: After undergoing a reverse merger with a Canadian group, Caret Digital plans to raise funds through a combination of equity and debt to support its capital expenditure for mining operations.
Ø Parent Company Support: VivoPower is a global sustainable energy solutions provider that has been listed on NASDAQ since 2016. In November 2024, VivoPower's board approved Caret Digital’s execution plan, allocating 55 megawatts of its solar farm assets for Dogecoin and Litecoin mining. This allocation provides Caret Digital with both resources and funding support. VivoPower announced that Caret Digital will mine virtual currencies at renewable energy hosting facilities in Wisconsin and Oregon, and has already started Dogecoin mining activities at a hosting facility in Wisconsin.
